Welcome

Welcome to another Summer Arts Scheme/Project/Week. A little hot perhaps but he, we can cope. This year we pay a fond tribute to a man called William Lyttle. There is a Blue Plaque in London in his name. His feat? He dug holes. Not just any holes. Extensive holes, tunnels and burrows beneath his home. It all came to light when a pavement collapsed revealing the extent of his work. His story is the inspiration behind our show this year.

As per usual it will take place at Fox Hollies School on Friday at about 1.30. Please come and enjoy. On a separate note, I am taking a back seat this year. My four colleagues, Ethan, Brandon, Reece and Connor are running the blog and taking the pictures. I have editorial control but other than that it's all their work. So without further ado, over to the lads.

Today has been the first day of summer school and with it has brought the start of the practice for the grand performance on friday. So far the children have chosen groups in which they will be producing work for the rest of the week. The groups include: Photography & blogging, dance, drama and art (which is split into 2 groups- projections and set construction). Below there are some pictures of what they have been doing:
